The Gophers will send the same lines out for the second straight night. It's the first time this season coach Don Lucia hasn't made at least one change in his lineup for a weekend finale.

The Big Ten opener arguably was one of the Gophers' cleanest games. Their defense didn't allow a goal in the final 53:29 minutes and they were perfect on the penalty kill (5-for-5). The offense added insurance when necessary and was successful on one of six power-play chances.

"Our penalty killing was much better after we were so dreadful last weekend. We were plus on specialties, which we thought was going to be important," Gophers coach Don Lucia said. "Adam [Wilcox] had a good sound game, a bounce-back game. A lot of pluses for us [on Friday]."

The Gophers will also wear the same uniforms from Friday, traditional white with the embroidered "M."

The team's Twitter account tweeted "If it's not broke, don't fix it," on Saturday afternoon.

• Wisconsin will make a change at goaltender. Joel Rumpel will start Game 2 after Landon Peterson gave up three goals on Friday night.

Rumpel finished last season as the Badgers' top goaltender, but he was injured early this season and has only started two games. Rumpel is 2-0, while Peterson is 2-4.

• Big Ten hockey earned a national plug during ABC's broadcast of the Ohio State-Michigan football game this afternoon. They showed highlights from Michigan's 4-3 overtime victory over Ohio State.

• Saturday's 5 p.m. game is on Fox Sports North, live-streamed online by BTN2Go.com, and can be heard on 1500-AM.
