NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Nashville Predators have recalled forward Viktor Stalberg from Milwaukee and the AHL a day after waiving him to fill a roster spot after placing forward Paul Gaustad on injured reserve.
The Predators announced the moves Friday before leaving for a three-game road trip.
Gaustad, 32, has missed three straight games with a lower body injury.
The Predators waived Stalberg on Thursday, planning to send him to Milwaukee if he cleared. Stalberg has missed the past six weeks with an injured knee he hurt Nov. 7 while on conditioning assignment with the Admirals.
