I hit Tainter Lake near Menomonie today to pre-fish for my firsttournament on May 16th - tough, tough day! I caught 11 keepers with thebiggest being 18.5" but talk about anorexia! Holy batflaps are thosefish skinny! most of the fish I caught were in 20' to 29' of water, butI did catch a few out of cribs in 11.7 feet of water - check out theattached SI snapshot of the crib - you can see the fish in it!
I finished the day with 18 rods on the deck which is not a good sign - a football head jig took the most keepers.
