Power rankings don't lie: Twins are the worst team in baseball

Ouch.

In case you were wondering, others have noticed just how bad the 7-21 Twins have become. Sure, they are an easy target with the worst record in baseball. But here are some of the things being written about them in various MLB power rankings, all of which have them dead last among the 30 MLB teams.

From MLive.com: The Twins have totaled five runs and 14 hits while batting .096 in their first five games this month. That sounds about right.

From ESPN.com: Last week, the Twins set a modern-era record for fewest hits (nine) in a four-game stretch. If they're going to be bad, they might as well be spectacularly bad.

From the Boston Herald: Ranked in the bottom three teams in AL in OPS from catcher, first base, second base, third base and right field, with Michael Cuddyer's old spot in right the biggest void. Six players have started there, combining for a .156 average.

The NY Daily News actually only lists 29 teams. We assume it's a web posting glitch, but it's just as well. The Twins are the only team not listed.
