Only six more games to go, just one at home, after Monday's one-point Wolves victory over Portland.
It was a rather impressive win against a Portland team that, despite injuries, had won six straight and pushed itself into the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference playoff picture.
The Wolves trailed by 12 early in the third, but rallied to take a lead into the fourth. Then they won a back-and-forth duel over the final 12 minutes.
Here are some notes on the game:
--Interestingly, the Wolves are now 10-0 in their last 10 one-point games. That is the longest such streak in the NBA in 20 years.
--Karl-Anthony Downs scored 14 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter. It was his 57th double-double of the season and his 19th game with 30 or more points.
--Ricky Rubio finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds, his seventh game this season with 15 or more assists. It was also his fourth straight double-double.
--Andrew Wiggins had 29 points, his 52nd games with 20 or more points this season. He has hit 15 of his last 27 three-point shots dating back to March 24.
