Jake Peavy was scheduled to start on Saturday but has been pushed back to Sunday.

Instead, Twins hitters will get a look at righthander Zach Stewart, who was part of the Edwin Jackson trade on July 27.

Stewart, 24, was 0-1 with a 4.86 ERA in three starts for Toronto last month. He allowed three runs on 10 hits in 6 1/3 innings last Sunday for Class AAA Charlotte.

Stewart throws a pretty good sinker and has worked on his change up over the last year. With any young pitcher, it will be interesting to see if Stewart will throw strikes and if he has confidence in the change up.

Reliever Brian Bruney was designated for assignment to make room for Stewart.

MORNEAU UPDATE

Justin Morneau, flied out, hit into a double play and grounded out two more times on Friday in his first action for Class AAA Rochester. Morneau came out after grounding out in the eighth.

Morneau is expected to play at least a week at Rochester before the Twins consider activating him from the disabled list, where he's missed 51 games following neck surgery.
