KANSAS CITY, MO. -- The Twins got production up and down the lineup in their 10-7 victory over the Royals on Monday night.

* Jamey Carroll, the No. 9 hitter, went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. His RBI single made it 3-0 in the second inning, and his RBI triple made it 4-1 in the fourth.

* Josh Willingham, moved to the No. 3 spot in Joe Mauer's absence, went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBI. His two-run homer off Royals lefty Will Smith gave the Twins a first-inning lead, and Willingham added an RBI single in the eighth. Willingham is batting .287 AVG/.409 OBP/.579 SLG and leads the team with 11 homers and 39 RBI.

* Justin Morneau's two-run homer in the fifth inning gave him 10 homers and 29 RBI. His batting average is just .234, but when he lined out to Smith in the third inning, he absolutely scalded the ball.

* Trevor Plouffe went 1-for-4, bringing his average to .200, and smashed his seventh home run. That's seven home runs in 110 at-bats. At that pace, he'd have 32 homers with 500 at-bats.

* Ben Revere went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI singles, raising his average to .305.

* Asked how it felt to get his first major league win, Cole De Vries said, "Feels awesome, feels great. It's something I've been waiting for my whole life. To finally get it tonight is a pretty impeccable emotion."
