Post offices are closed today except for the 24-hour office at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Express Mail will be delivered in the metro area.

Some banks are open. TCF traditional and in-store branches are open normal hours. U.S. Bank traditional branches are closed, and in-store branches are open normal hours. Wells Fargo traditional and in-store branches are closed.

Major supermarkets are open in the Twin Cities.

Shopping malls are open.

Metro Transit buses and light-rail trains will follow regular schedules. For route information, call 612-373-3333 or go to www.metrotransit.org. Most suburban bus lines will follow regular schedules. Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, Maple Grove Transit, Plymouth Metrolink, South West Metro Transit and Metro Mobility will have normal service.

Parking meters will not be enforced in Minneapolis, at the University of Minnesota and in St. Paul. Minneapolis parks will enforce meters unless noted on the meter.

Most public schools and the University of Minnesota are closed.

Local, state and federal government offices are closed.

Some public libraries are closed. Hennepin County libraries are open regular hours.

Recreation centers in Brooklyn Park , Eagan, Minnetonka, St. Louis Park, Woodbury, Chaska and Chanhassen are open. In St. Paul, call individual centers for hours.
