Possible tropical activity off the southwestern coast of India developinglater this weekend could impact northwestern India by early next week.According to AccuWeather.com meteorologists, an area of low pressure isexpected to form over the southeastern Arabian Sea, west-southwest of Mumbai,this weekend.

It is possible this system could develop into a tropical cyclone headingtoward the northwest region of India by early next week.

Clouds approaching India could work at cooling the brutal heat waveencompassing the nation.

Meteorologists expect minor cooling to take place Friday through theweekend. Slightly lower high temperatures, around 115-118 F (upper 40s C), areexpected Friday through Sunday.

Jacobabad, Pakistan recorded a high temperature of 124 F (51 C)Thursday.
