Rick Adelman will miss tonight's game because of what the team is calling personal reasons. Top assistant Terry Porter will take over as the head coach. The team doesn't know yet whether Adelman will be back in time to be with the team in Oklahoma City Wednesday night.

Porter – who filled in for a game last season – has been a head coach before.

One thing he said he won't do is change much up.

"You try not to have too many changes," Porter said. "You try to stay as consistent as possible. … You talk more about energy and focus, more of the present, as far as this being a get-away game.

Porter will go with the same starting lineup, sans Kevin Love, of Luke Ridnour and Alexey Shved at guard, Andrei Kirilenko and Dante Cunningham at forward and Nikola Pekovic at center.

Ricky Rubio makes his return tonight after missing four games with back spasms. Porter indicated Rubio is still limited to about 20 minutes of play; he said the team has not yet addressed whether Rubio will play Wednesday, on the back end of a back-to-back. He has not done so up to this point.

I'll get back to you after the game.
