ENRIQUE IGLESIAS AND JENNIFER LOPEZ

Wednesday: J.Lo is proving more unpredictable in concert than she was on "American Idol." In Newark, N.J., the other day, she entered with pomp and circumstance and, of course, lots of dancers. Then, after a couple of songs, she announced her departure from "Idol." Nice. She looked great on TV but is the '00s dance-pop diva ("I'm Real," "All I Have") past her prime onstage? We'll find out in her Twin Cities debut, which comes on a co-headline tour with Enrique Iglesias, who has conquered the charts in both English ("Be With You") and Spanish ("No Me Digas Que No"). But he's leaning on his English material on this North American tour. Frankie J opens. Read a joint interview with Lopez and Iglesias in Monday's Variety. (7:30 p.m. Wed. $29.50-$129.50. Target Center, 600 1st Av. N., Mpls. 1-800-982-2787.)

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
