Patti Labelle

Saturday: She has reined in the hair but not the soaring, swooping, over-the-top voice. Expect her timeless, stir-it-up favorites, including "New Attitude" and "Lady Marmalade," and the chart-topping ballad "On My Own." The Philly veteran, who hasn't performed in the Twin Cities since 2000, also might dispense a little advice, as she did in her books "Don't Block the Blessings" (1997) and "Patti's Pearls: Lessons in Living Genuinely, Joyfully, Generously" (2002). Those aren't her only books; she's published three collections of recipes, some of which are available on her website. In 2010, the ever-versatile entertainer appeared on Broadway in the musical "Fela!" Last year, she completed her 50th anniversary tour. At 69, she's still a diva's diva. (8 p.m. Sat. $54-$62.
