Police seek suspect in shooting of woman at north Minneapolis home

A woman suffered noncritical injuries when she was shot Saturday afternoon at a north Minneapolis residence.

The shooting occurred at 2:45 p.m. on the 2800 block of Emerson Avenue N., according to Minneapolis police. The victim, an adult, knows the suspect, who is being sought by police.

The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, police said.

Investigators were talking to the victim and witnesses Saturday. No other information was released.
