Police have released numerous crime-scene photos from Accent Signage in Minneapolis, where a newly fired employee shot and killed six people before taking his own life last September.

The photos show bullet holes in the walls of the Bryn Mawr neighborhood business, along with shell casings on the floor. They also show the handgun used by shooter Andrew Engeldinger and a bullet hole in the windshield of a UPS truck driven by Keith Basinski, who was among those killed.

Among the photos released Wednesday were images from Engeldinger's Minneapolis home. They show several boxes of ammunition in the garage, online receipts for ammo and a handgun, a stack of paper targets and a letter from his supervisor dated a week before the shooting about Engeldinger's excessive tardiness.

Engeldinger, 36, went on his rampage moments after he was fired on Sept. 27, 2012, following 12 years on the job; he then fatally shot himself inside the business, bringing a halt to Minnesota's deadliest workplace shooting.

Killed were Accent owner Reuven Rahamim and five others, including employees Jacob Beneke, Ronald Edberg, Rami Cooks, Eric Rivers and Basinski, the UPS driver.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
