The University of Minnesota police say a student who went missing overnight has been found safe.
"Good news August Piro found safe! Thanks for getting the message out!" police said in a twitter message. No other details were released.
Prior to being found, Piro, 18, was last seen leaving Bailey Hall on the St. Paul campus around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. He hadn't been seen or heard from since and authorities were concerned for his welfare.
