Police: Man fatally shot in Mpls. home was 24 years old; no arrests

Authorities said Sunday that a man shot and killed late Friday in a north Minneapolis home was 24 years old and that no arrests had been made.

The victim's name will be released by the Hennepin County medical examiner's office, police said.

The shooting occurred about 10:40 p.m. in a house in the 3600 block of Aldrich Avenue N., according to police.

The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and died there shortly afterward.

Several young adults were at the house in the McKinley neighborhood at the time of the shooting and were taken to City Hall for questioning.

Authorities have not determined a motive.
