Twin Cities band Poliça continues their rapid rise with an appearance Wednesday night on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

No doubt Fallon bandleader Questlove -- known for championing such cutting-edge acts as tUnE-yArDs, who got a big break on the show last year -- loves the band's twin-drummer attack as well as its beautifully brooding sound.

They're scheduled to appear along with the cast of "30 Rock" and the Rev. Al Sharpton.

The group, fronted by ex-Roma di Luna singer Channy Leaneagh and masterminded by Gayngs ringleader Ryan Olson, also announced a spring tour that starts May 8 in Madison, Wis., and includes festival dates at Washington's state's Sasquatch fest May 25, St. Paul's River's Edge June 23 and Chicago's Lollapalooza Aug. 5.
