A Minnesota teenager has died in a rollover crash on Interstate 94 near Eau Claire, Wis.

Kevin William Messer was killed in Friday evening's crash, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol. Suffering noncritical injuries were Leo John Schreiner, 15, also of Plymouth, and Hanna Fatima Sedqi, 16, of Robbinsdale.

Both were taken to Eau Claire hospitals.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said the three teenagers were in a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt that was traveling eastbound on I-94 when it veered onto the shoulder just east of the exchange with Hwy. 53. Sedqi, the driver, tried to regain control, overcorrected and the vehicle rolled into the median, the patrol reported.

None of the three was drinking, and all were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
