Plymouth man dies from apparent drowning accident

A man in his 30s died in an apparent drowning accident at an indoor swimming pool in Plymouth on Sunday night, police said.

Police received a call about 7:30 p.m. about a possible drowning at an apartment complex at 15300 37th Ave. N. First responders performed CPR on the man, who was a resident of the complex, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim had been pulled out of the pool by a family member and another person, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said.
