Those who get lost on Pinterest for hours at a time can now ditch the phone, computer or tablet for the real, live thing. The Pinners Conference and Expo is coming to town and will feature more than 100 Pinterest-based classes taught by the best presenters from around the nation. Fish Creek Bioblitz
Maplewood Nature Center is looking for experts in field identification of plants, birds and insects for the Fish Creek Bioblitz. Volunteer with other experts to identify, record and generate a species list. Bees: For the Love of Affinis
The Minnesota State Horticultural Society and the University of Minnesota Bee Squad will present a day of programming on supporting endangered pollinators. Art along the river
Support local artisans at the Stone Arch Bridge Festival. More than 200 artists will display works in mixed media, pottery, pastels, glass, metal, paintings, digital and photography overlooking the Mississippi River. The festival features a classic car show, live music, food, and family activities by the Science Museum of Minnesota. The event kicks off with a concert at Water Power Park, 5 to 10 p.m. June 15.
