Courtesy of Dakota County Technical College Flaminko Plinko contestant Alexander Just of Eagan hit the $4,000 slot during Dakota County Technical College's "Flamingo Fling" college showcase on April 7. Seven winners combined to net $17,600 in scholarships during the game. The event drew about 3,000 people. Visitors talked to DCTC faculty and staff, answered trivia questions linked to a drawing for a flat-screen TV, and learned more about the college. The Rosemount college is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
