Photos: Medical Marijuana bill introduced

A bipartisan group of legislators introduced a bill that would allow people with serious illnesses to use medical marijuana under a doctors care. Mom Jodi Whiting of Jordan talked about how it helped improve the quality of her daughter's final months of life.

Joni Whiting broke into tears when she talked about how her daughter's cancer pain was relieved by marijuana, allowing her to eat again and live through the holidays with her family.

Joni Whiting's daughter Stephanie who died after multiple surgeries following melanoma skin cancer. Marijuana reduced her pain, allowed her to eat without vomiting and prolonged her life according to her mother.
