    Photos: 'Mean Gene' Okerlund, wrestling announcer who began in Minnesota, dies at 76

    Gene Okerlund made his name interviewing pro wrestlers in the Twin Cities with Verne Gagne's American Wrestling Association before going national with Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment in the 1980s. The WWE announced that Okerlund has died at age 76.
