The winner of the Nikonians 2011 Wildlife Forum December Challenge is Bill Marchel of Fort Ripley, MN. The monthly theme was "Winter Wildlife." Marchel won with his striking image of a great gray owl in flight over a snow-covered meadow. Nikonians is the largest site in the world for Nikon camera users, spanning 140 countries. The site garners over 10 million page views per month and more than 40,000 photographers visit the site daily.
