Adrian Peterson stretched with the team before practice moments ago, but did not participate in drills during the open part of practice.

He didn't practice Wednesday because of hip, finger and ankle injuries. He is expected to play. For those who don't remember, we've reached the part of the season when the Vikings essentially rest Peterson from Monday through Thursday and have him go through a light workout on Fridays.

Also not practicing during the open part of practice were defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (ankle/knee), defensive end Justin Trattou (foot), and tight end Rhett Ellison (concussion). Ellison was on the field during practice, but wasn't participating.

Returning to practice today were linebacker Audie Cole (finger) and receiver Jarius Wright (concussion).

We'll have the injury report after practice.
