Vikings running back Adrian Peterson returned to practice on Friday and is probable for Sunday's noon start in Chicago.

He sat out Wednesday and Thursday with what the injury report listed as hip/finger/ankle injuries. Friday's injury report said he had limited participation at practice, but coach Mike Zimmer said "[Peterson] was full go and he'll be ready on Sunday."

Tight end Rhett Ellison (concussion), defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee/ankle) and defensive end Justin Trattou (foot) were ruled out for Sunday's game.

Zimmer announced earlier this week that Floyd had a little cartilage removed from his knee and didn't offer a timetable for his return. Ellison was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, but sat out Thursday and Friday. Trattou had hoped to start practicing later this week, but still remains out.

Wide receiver Jarius Wright (concussion), linebacker Audie Cole (finger), fullback Zach Line (neck), wide receiver Adam Thielen (ankle) and defensive tackle Tom Johnson (knee) all practiced Friday and listed as probable.

Chicago linebacker Shea McClellin (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday. Tackle Jermon Bushrod (shoulder), defensive lineman Bruce Gaston (illness), center Hroniss Grasu (neck) and safety Antrel Rolle (ankle) are all questionable.
