Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson returned to practice Friday morning while snow fell at Winter Park.

Defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis stretched with the team, but walked off the field and will miss practice for a third straight day after injuring his ankle last Sunday at Green Bay.

All other players participated in the portion of practice open to the media.

Peterson missed practice Wednesday and Thursday nursing a low back injury, but was expected to return for Sunday's wild-card round matchup against Seattle at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Vikings' final injury report will be released later Friday afternoon.

Seattle coach Pete Carroll said on his radio show that tight end Luke Willson (concussion) will be the only Seahawk unable to play Sunday. That means Pro Bowl running back Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) will return after missing seven weeks and Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor (pelvis) will be back after missing three weeks.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
