Adrian Peterson was named NFC offensive player of the week this morning.

The Vikings running back had 153 yards on 23 carries and scored a touchdown in a 21-14 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday.

Peterson lead the NFL in yards from scrimmage (787) and is third in the league in rushing with 652 yards, seven behind leader Arian Foster of Houston and six behind second-place Alfred Morris of Washington.

Peterson has been NFC offensive player of the week six times in his career.

Update: The Vikings also released their injury report. MLB Jasper Brinkley was added as he missed practice today, but it was not injury related and he will play on Thursday night.

John Carlson (concussion) did not practice and Mistral Raymond (ankle) was limited, otherwise the Vikings had full participation from everyone. Neither Carlson nor Raymond will play Thursday.
