For the second straight day, running back Adrian Peterson and nose tackle Linval Joseph did not practice. Defensive end Everson Griffen was also a bystander today as the Vikings practiced indoors.

Coach Mike Zimmer told reporters this morning that he thought Peterson, who is still recovering from the ankle injury he suffered against the Bears, would practice. But Peterson left his helmet in the locker room and after stretching stood and watched practice in a hoodie.

Joseph, who returned from a toe injury in Sunday's win over the Giants, did the team stretch then went straight to the locker room.

Griffen, who was listed on yesterday's injury report as a limited participant with his shoulder injury, stayed to watch practice.

There seems to be little doubt that Peterson and Griffen will play Sunday against the Packers. Joseph is more of a question mark.
