'Aqua Teen Hunger Force Live'

Just blocks away from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Live" at the Pantages, Nickelodeon's "Storytime Live!" starring Dora the Explorer is concurrently hitting the State Theater. Oh, what a sweet, drastic study in cartoon contrast. "Aqua Teen," the animated classic about a houseful of unruly fast-foodstuffs, is wrapping up its seventh season of absurdist, vulgar and cult-adored humor. With a 2007 motion picture already under the franchise's belt, why not a live stage show? That's exactly what co-creator Dave Willis (Carl, Meatwad) and voice actor Dana Snyder (Master Shake) are doing. Expect puppets, songs, never-before-seen clips and even a Twin Cities-specific "regional beef" from everyone's favorite Jerseyite, Carl. More event details.

    Zenon Dance Company

Faith, human connection and swing dancing are all represented in Zenon Dance Company's 27th Spring Season. The program features the return of jazz master Danny Buraczeski's signature showstopper "Swing Concerto." "The Tone of Invitation" is a premiere from local dance maker Morgan Thorson, who just scored an impressive Guggenheim Fellowship. New York-based Sean Curran's premiere, "Still Life," tackles some of the big questions about spirituality. Wynn Fricke's "Shape of Wind" is the evening's repertory selection. More event details.
