A 60-year-old man from Pequot Lakes, Minn., is dead after a head-on crash early Thursday in Crow Wing County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The man was driving a 1999 Ford pickup north on Hwy. 371 in Sibley Township when he hit a barrier on his right. His pickup then crossed into the southbound lane and was hit head-on by a 1998 Peterbilt semitrailer truck. The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
The driver of the semi, Daniel Thomas Jackson, 60, of Hackensack, Minn., was uninjured.
