A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle late Friday in Brooklyn Park.
First responders were called to N. 85th Avenue at Stratford Crossing at 10:24 p.m. on a report that a person had been hit by a vehicle, Brooklyn Park police said in a news release. Officers and medics attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, police said.
An investigation is underway with the help of the State Patrol and Hennepin County sheriff's deputies.
