Pedestrian killed in Brooklyn Park was Minneapolis man

The Hennepin County medical examiner has identified a 35-year-old man killed Monday evening when he was struck by a car as he ran across Hwy. 252 in Brooklyn Park.

Patrick Sundance Heath Mack, of Minneapolis, was struck by a car heading north as he crossed the highway near a "Do Not Cross" sign at Brookdale Drive, according to the State Patrol.

Mack died at the scene of his injuries, the medical examiner said.
