A pedestrian appears to have been killed on a St. Paul highway Friday night close to downtown.
About 10 p.m. police were trying to control traffic after a reported pedestrian incident near Interstate 35E and Grand Avenue.
Later, police said that a body was found on southbound 35E just south of the Grand Avenue overpass. The investigation into how the person died is ongoing. No other information was immediately available.
Traffic on I-35E was restricted due to the incident as a Wild game finished at the nearby Xcel Energy Center complicating traffic even more.
