Pawlenty video: Stand with Gov. Walker

Releases video and petition

February 24, 2011 at 7:52PM

In something of a sequel to his first presidential campaign-style video, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty's Freedom First PAC has released a new video and petition rallying support for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. "While Democrats in Wisconsin are fleeing the state - running from their responsibilities to the taxpayers - Governor Scott Walker is making the tough choices necessary to avoid financial ruin," Pawlenty wrote in an email to supporters. "The unions and liberals in Washington are using every trick in the book to try to pressure Governor Walker into caving in, so it's more important than ever for us to show our support to Governor Walker today!" The 60-second video will look familiar to followers of the emerging ouvre of Pawenty videos: Action epic music, building crescendo, and a snappy finish from Pawlenty: "…Stand with Walker, Stand with Wisconsin."
