Pawlenty to propose constitutional amendment on "economic issues"

Governor schedules press conference Thursday, but provides few details

Gov. Tim Pawlenty's office announced today that the governor will unveil a proposal Thursday morning for a constitutional amendment. The governor's office provided few details on what the proposal would entail, but said Pawlenty would hold a press conference at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in his office.

"The governor's proposed constitutional amendment is related to economic issues," said Brian McClung, a Pawlenty spokeman.
