Tim Pawlenty plans to make it official on Monday in Iowa, an aide for the former Minnesota governor confirmed this morning. The formal announcement of his quest for the presidency is scheduled to take place at a Town Hall in the Historical Building in Des Moines. Former First Lady Mary Pawlenty will introduce him. The Minnesota Republican's long-telegraphed announcement will be followed by a Facebook Town Hall in Coral Gables, Fla., on Tuesday, and a swing through Washington, D.C. for an event at the Cato Institute on Wednesday.
