Gov. Tim Pawlenty is out of town.
His spokesman, Bruce Gordon, would say only: "Governor Pawlenty is traveling on official business today."
The governor's public schedule has been devoid of events for days. The last time the schedule said anything but "No Public Events Scheduled" was Monday July 12, when he was in St. Paul for the investiture ceremony for the new Minnesota Supreme Court justices.
