Pawlenty reappearing: He'll be at a New Hampshire rally with Romney

The former presidential candidate will support his choice for president in the early primary state

January 7, 2012 at 5:10AM

Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty is going back on the presidential campaign trail -- for Mitt Romney.

The Romney campaign said Pawlenty will appear at a Sunday morning rally with Romney in Rochester, New Hampshire. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will join Romney for a campaign rally in New Hampshire Sunday afternoon.

Pawlenty will also reappear at a Republican Party gathering in Pennsylvania later this month. He will be the keynote speaker at that state's Lincoln Day dinner Jan. 27, according to the Patriot-News. In 2008, Pawlenty made a campaign swing through Pennsylvania and Ohio on behalf of presidential candidate John McCain.

Pawlenty quit this year's presidential race in August of last year. Minn. U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann quit the race this week.
