Pawlenty hitching his (presidential?) wagon to the RNC

He's sent out an e-mail, beating the bushes for bucks.

Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty, whose presidential ambitions are becoming clearer by the day, sent an e-mail Friday to Republicans with the subject line: "Help End the Obama Era."

Without mentioning his own (presumed) ambitions, Pawlenty asks Republicans to send in $25, $50 or $100, noting that the Republican National Committee is "the only Republican Party organization that can directly support our next presidential nominee's campaign."

He also goes out of his way to give a shout-out to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, as he's been doing ever since that state's politics blew up a couple of weeks ago:
