Pawlenty having regrets?

The outgoing Republican governor says things might have been "different" had known the entire Minnesota Legislature was going to turn GOP

On his second to last Friday radio show, Gov. Tim Pawlenty Friday was asked if he was a little "sad" that he won't have a four year term with a Legislature completely controlled by Republicans.

Through a laugh the Republican governor quietly said: "I kind of am."

He said his message of government living within its means seems to have caught on.

"Maybe I was just a little bit ahead of my time in Minnesota. Had I known there was going to be a Republican Legislature, ah, things would be maybe, probably, would have been different," Pawlenty said.
