Next three in line at Class AAA Rochester for the Twins bench:
Jorge Polanco, 22, utility: Twins have given up on him as a SS but still love him as a hitter. He'll play 2B, 3B and some corner OF in Rochester.
Darin Mastroianni, 30, OF: GM Terry Ryan called him second-best player in camp to Santana. Had eight stolen bases in Florida; can play anywhere in OF.
John Hicks, 26, C: If Murphy doesn't pick up his play, he could be supplanted by this big man with a rocket arm as Suzuki's backup.
