Passing the baton for Minneapolis coverage

My colleague Suzanne Ziegler is taking over the Minneapolis team, which will continue to deliver aggressive and essential coverage of Minnesota's largest city.

Back in the spring of 2011, I took on the task of overseeing the Star Tribune's coverage of Minneapolis, my adopted hometown. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with a team of talented and driven reporters to cover the city's triumphs, changes, embarrassments and tragedies and uncover stories that others would prefer to stay hidden.

Starting Monday, I will take on a new role at the Star Tribune as its watchdog and data editor, overseeing our investigative and database reporting. My colleague Suzanne Ziegler is taking over the Minneapolis team, which will continue to deliver aggressive and essential coverage of Minnesota's largest city. Expect to see her blogging here, while I move back to the Whistleblower blog.

Thank you for your help making this blog as lively as the city it covers.
