The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed County Road 47 between Yucca and Teakwood lanes as of Tuesday, and the road will remain closed until mid-October.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to widen the Interstate 494 bridge spanning the road.

Motorists may bypass the closure by using Northwest Boulevard, Bass Lake Road, Vicksburg Lane and Schmidt Lake Road.
