The Liar

Park Square Theatre opens its mainstage season with David Ives' adaptation of Pierre Corneille's comedy "Le Menteur." Doug Scholz-Carlson directs a cast that includes Zach Curtis, Sha Cage, Shanan Custer and Sara Richardson. The story is silly enough — a comedy of errors in which one of the principals can't tell the truth and the other can't lie. Oh, the mischief they get into. (Previews 7:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat. & Tue.-Thu., 2 p.m. Sun. Opens Sept. 16. Ends Oct. 2. Park Square Theatre, 20 W. 7th Pl., St. Paul. $27-$37, 99 cents on Tue. 651-291-7005 or parksquaretheatre.org)
