U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann is bringing out the big gun from Alaska to help her re-election effort.
Bachmann announced Thursday that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will host a fundraiser for her campaign April 7.
The event will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Minneapolis. There will be a private reception and photo opportunity at 4:30 p.m., a general reception at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. It's not known how much tickets cost.
Honorary hosts include Minnesota Republican dynamos such as Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Sen. Norm Coleman and U.S. Reps. John Kline and Erik Paulsen.
