It's still early in the MLB season, but it's obviously getting later by the day. As such, impressive Twins projections like these start to have more meaning:

94: Number of wins they are on pace for after a 4-1 road trip put them at 25-18 this season. Yes, this is the same team that has lost 92 or more four straight years and started this season 1-6.

3: Players on pace for 90 RBI or more — Joe Mauer, Torii Hunter and Brian Dozier. No Twins player had more than 80 in 2013 or 2014.

4.07: The combined ERA of Twins starting pitchers. That's right around the MLB average — and almost a full run better than their AL-worst 5.06 mark last season.

ALL THE JOKES Will Power finished second in the Indy 500 on Sunday, but the puns with his name will always finish first.

LOVE SHOWDOWN It sure seems like we're heading for an NBA Finals showdown between the team rumored to be after Kevin Love and the one that got him.

The Twins have been keen on drafting shortstops with their top picks in recent years, and Marek Houston might actually stick at the position.
