A man was in critical condition after being shot in north Minneapolis on Tuesday evening, police said.
Officers responded to the 3900 block of Emerson Avenue N. just after 5:30 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
The shooter fled the scene before police arrived. Authorities believe the two knew each other. No one is in custody.
