One less? GOP Gov. candidate Hann to make announcement at 11

The field of candidates may be winnowing

State Sen. David Hann, a Republican candidate for governor, will make an 11:00 announcement regarding his candidacy.

"We're going to talk about the governor's race," said Hann. The likeable senator who had a dismal showing in this month's statewide straw poll and little campaign cash at the end of last year said his campaign was going to "suspend our activities," but he didn't go so far as to say that he'd drop out.

He said he'd talk about that and any endorsements he may make at 11.
