One killed in crash in front of Wayzata shopping center

One person was killed late Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Wayzata.

The crash happened just after 3:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wayzata Boulevard E., in front of the Colonial Square shopping center, according to Wayzata police Lt. Mike Murphy.

One person was killed and two were injured, Murphy said. Wayzata police and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating.
